We had our annual fashion show last night in The Spa and we had a great time. Thanks to all of our models, the people who showed up, DJ Kirsten for the music and Dining Services and Quandts for all of the great food. Tonight is the big night!!

Don't forgot!! Mark it down on your calendars!! The annual Skidmore Shop fashion show starts at 8PM in The Spa. Come watch some of your classmates and Skidmore staff members strut their stuff on the catwalk modeling some great Skidmore clothing. The Spa will be open until 11PM that night and DJ Kirsten will be there to spin music from 8 to 11. We are also throwing an art sale from 2PM to 10PM. It's going to a lot of fun and you'll get to save money. And if that isn't enough..you can get your photo taken with Presidant Obama.

Just wanted to let all of you know about the special hours at The Skidmore Shop on Thursday February 26. We will open our doors at 2PM and stay open until 10PM that day.

IMPORTANT!!!!
If you are an art student, please make sure you stop into the Skidmore Shop on Wednesday to pick up your Thursday morning art supplies. We don't want to see your sad faces pressed up against our doors on Thursday morning wondering why we aren't open. Actually, we won't see them because we won't be there......but the mere thought of you being sad makes me sad. Honest. So just be sure to stop in on Wednesday to pick up your class supplies.

So why the special hours you ask?
We have something fun planned for all of you and the only way we can do it is to push back our hours of operation that day. We are having our annual Skidmore Shop fashion show on Thursday February 26 at The Spa beginning at 8PM. Stop over and check out your fellow classmates and staff members model some of the great Skidmore apparel that you can get at The Shop. I should also mention that The Spa will be open late that night as well as a DJ spinning music from 8PM to 11PM. It's going to be a lot of fun. There may be other little surprises as well. Not gonna tell you what they are. So if you want to know, then I guess you'll have to stop over and find out for yourself.

I'd also like to mention that we are are having a big art sale that night. Stop in and take advantage of some of the great art supply deals.

2nd Annual Skidmore Shop Fashion Show

Oh yeeeeaaaaahh!!! The Skidmore Shops 2nd Annual Fashion Show is Thursday February 26th in The Spa.
Things start at 8PM with DJ Kirsten spinning until 11PM. The fashion show starts at 8:30PM with your fellow Skidmore classmates and staff modeling some of the great things you can find in the store. If you get hungry..no problem. We've worked it out with Dining Services to keep the Spa open until 11PM that night and The Skidmore Shop will also be open until 10PM for our art sale.

Do you own an iPhone or iPod Touch?

If you own an iPhone or iPod touch, we have a cool app for you to check out. Skidmore grad Zach Gage '07 created this app called synthPond..this weird spacial sequencer/audio toy...hey, that's what it says on his website. There are two versions. The full version, which is a $1.99 and the lite version, which is free. It's actually a pretty cool app. I managed to keep myself entertained with it during two full laundry loads the other day. Just open up your apps on your iPhone or iPod Touch and search for it. Or check out Zach's website here. You'll find information and video on how it works. Of course if you don't own an iPhone or iPod Touch...well I guess you are outta luck. Sort of.
